If you commit an infraction while driving, and an officer detects alcohol on your breath, you must be brought before a Municipal Judge. At that point, you will have the right to make a phone call and name a person to represent you.
You will then be brought to a doctor who will examine you to determine if you are intoxicated .07 (i.e., under the influence of alcohol).
